About the Event :
A webinar series called Cleaning Our Children's Air focused on the issue of air pollution, which caused the deaths of 476,000 newborns worldwide in 2019. The first webinar, in partnership with the RCPCH and the Lung Care Foundation, discussed the impact of toxic air on children's health and the role of health professionals in tackling the problem. Air pollution was responsible for 14% of deaths in African children under five.
