The 2nd International Wellness Con, held on October 11, 2025, at the Hind Institute of Medical Sciences, Palhari, Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh, focused on raising awareness about air pollution, its health impacts, and the critical role of the medical community in promoting clean air. The event was attended by approximately 120 doctors and medical students.

The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Surya Kant, Professor & Head of the Department of Respiratory Medicine, KGMU, and National Core Committee Member of Doctors for Clean Air and Climate Action. Dr. Kant emphasized that air pollution affects the entire body, not just the lungs. He highlighted that exposure to polluted air accelerates cellular aging and significantly increases the risk of serious health conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), lung cancer, pneumonia, tuberculosis, cardiovascular, and neurological disorders.

The session successfully engaged participants, enhancing their understanding of the health risks associated with air pollution and motivating them to take active steps toward clean air advocacy and community engagement.
