On February 15, 2025, Lung Care Foundation, Doctors for Clean Air & Climate Action, and Eeshwar Child Welfare Foundation organized an awareness program at KGMU, Lucknow, on International Childhood Cancer Day. Attended by over 100 participants, including 50 childhood cancer patients and their families, the event focused on the link between air pollution and cancer. Prof. (Dr.) Surya Kant emphasized the role of clean air in health, the impact of passive smoking and indoor pollution, and the need to switch to clean energy. The event successfully raised awareness about cancer prevention, clean air, and healthy living, empowering patients and parents with practical knowledge for better long-term health outcomes.
