Lung Care Foundation, Doctors for Clean Air and Climate Action (DFCA)  and the Indian Spinal Injuries Centre, held the Celebration of International Day of Clean Air for Blue Skies (IDCABS) on 4 September 2025 (11:00 AM–3:00 PM). Facilitated by Anshika Kansal, the event drew ~100–120 attendees including senior doctors, MPT students, SCI patients, caregivers, and ISIC staff.

Speakers – Dr. Rimsha Siddiqui, Dr. Harshvardhan Puri, Dr. Col. Dutta, Dr. Manish, and Dr. Raj Kumar highlighted air pollution’s impact on illness and recovery, shared patient case studies, and demonstrated rehabilitation exercises mindful of environmental risks. DFCA materials were displayed across the hospital, free PFTs were offered to SCI patients, and educational leaflets were distributed.

The event strengthened clinical advocacy for clean air, raised patient and staff awareness, and reinforced practical mitigation and rehabilitation measures.
