The Fit India, Hit India campaign, organized by IMA Jalandhar in collaboration with DAV University on February 14, 2025, aimed to raise awareness about air pollution and its severe health effects. The session, led by Dr. Tanvir Bakhshi, emphasized the urgent need for environmental action and the role of individuals in improving air quality. Over 100 participants, including doctors, teachers, and students, attended the event.

Key highlights included an awareness lecture by Dr. Bakhshi on the impact of air pollution on respiratory and cardiovascular health, discussions on the responsibility of key stakeholders, and an interactive Q&A session. Notable dignitaries such as IMA President Dr. MS Bhutani, IMA Secretary Dr. Pooja Kapoor, and DAV University Principal Dr. Manoj Kumar were present.

The event led to increased awareness, strengthened commitment from medical and educational professionals, and encouraged students to engage in eco-friendly initiatives. Moving forward, plans include integrating air quality education into university programs, promoting tree-planting efforts, and continuing collaborations between LCF and DAV University. The campaign successfully united stakeholders in taking proactive steps towards a cleaner and healthier environment.
