Two public health initiatives focusing on air pollution awareness and preventive healthcare were organized in District Amritsar under the Amritsar Forum for Clean Air, coordinated by Dr. Sonali Vohra and Dr. Rahul.
The Prescription Pad Roll-Out for RMOs was conducted at the ADC Complex under the chairmanship of Ms. Paramjeet Kaur to distribute prescription pads promoting “10 Simple Steps to Reduce Air Pollution” across 63 dispensaries. RMOs were guided on integrating preventive health messages into OPD consultations.
The Release of IEC (Information, Education, and Communication) Posters for Health Facilities was held at the Civil Surgeon Office under the leadership of Dr. Satinder. The initiative focused on disseminating awareness posters across District Hospitals (DH), Sub-Divisional Hospitals (SDH), Community Health Centres (CHC), and Primary Health Centres (PHC) to strengthen public awareness on air pollution and health.
