At the Basics from the Master’s Conference in Jalandhar, Punjab, Doctors for Clean Air and Climate Action (DFCA) brought air pollution to the forefront of a traditionally surgical platform. Led by Dr. P. S. Bakhshi, Honorary President of the DFCA Punjab Chapter, DFCA addressed over 70 doctors from India, South Asia, and beyond, highlighting air pollution as a critical health issue.
With interactive stalls and engaging posters, DFCA educated doctors on the health impacts of air pollution and ways to incorporate advocacy into their practices. Around 50 doctors committed to joining the DFCA network, strengthening its mission to mobilize healthcare professionals in the fight for clean air. This event also opened doors for cross-border collaborations and expanded DFCA’s reach, emphasizing that air pollution is a global health crisis requ
