Lung Care Foundation successfully launched the Ludhiana Forum for Clean Air in collaboration with the Dayanand Medical College & Hospital. The launch witnessed the participation of 164 attendees, including representatives from district administration, doctors, PPCB officials, lawyers, medical students, industry professionals, and civil society members. The forum aims to enhance healthcare provider engagement and public awareness on air pollution. Core objectives included building a strong health voice, supporting clean air actions, and expanding DFCA’s state presence. The launch also aimed to foster collaboration with key local stakeholders, highlight Ludhiana’s pollution challenges, and initiate research and training for medical students. The event marked a significant step towards aligning health professionals and local stakeholders in driving clean air initiatives for Ludhiana.
