A capacity-building workshop was conducted for parshads and safai karamcharis, led by Lung Care Foundation under the DFCA initiative. Dr. Arvind Kumar emphasized that air pollution impacts begin before birth and extend across multiple organ systems, contributing to diseases like lung cancer, hypertension, and stroke. Dr. Rajiv Khurana highlighted the importance of small behavioral changes, such as avoiding the burning of camphor and using indoor plants. He urged participants to adopt sustainable habits and engage youth in clean air efforts. The session reinforced air pollution as a daily crisis requiring collective and community-led action.
