NAPCON Conference
Jaipur
November 14-16, 2025
Birla Auditorium, Jaipur

Doctors for Clean Air and Climate Action (DFCA) participated in NAPCON 2025, engaging with the pulmonologists community through scientific discussions and on-ground outreach focused on air pollution and health. The conference witnessed participation from over 3,000 delegates and featured multiple sessions that examined air pollution as a significant public health risk, with a particular focus on its links to respiratory, cardiovascular, neurological, and metabolic diseases.

DFCA members contributed to and engaged with these discussions, which emphasized emerging clinical evidence on the health impacts of poor air quality and the need for greater involvement of medical professionals in patient awareness, public communication, and policy-relevant advocacy.

In addition, DFCA set up an information stall at the conference, which served as a space for interaction with delegates, dissemination of evidence-based resources on air pollution and health, and conversations around the role of doctors in advancing clean air action. The stall received steady engagement from conference participants, including pulmonologists, physicians, and trainees, resulting in over 500 doctors being onboarded into the DFCA network.

Overall, DFCA’s participation at NAPCON 2025 helped strengthen engagement with the respiratory health community and supported ongoing efforts to expand a network of medical professionals committed to addressing air pollution as a public health priority.
