On October 14, 2024, the Innocent Heart Group of Institutions, in collaboration with the Lung Care Foundation (LCF), organized a seminar on the “Health Impacts of Air Pollution and Climate Change.” Led by Dr. Rajiv Khurana, the session engaged over 100-150 students and faculty, emphasizing the health risks of air pollution and its environmental consequences.
Dr. Khurana discussed both indoor and outdoor air pollution, highlighting their sources, health impacts, and preventive measures. He stressed the importance of student involvement in raising awareness and promoting sustainable practices. The session featured an interactive discussion where students actively participated, expressing concerns and receiving practical guidance on reducing pollution in daily life.
The seminar effectively educated attendees on the dangers of air pollution and empowered them to advocate for cleaner air. It reinforced the role of educational institutions in fostering environmental awareness and action. The event successfully inspired students to contribute to pollution reduction and climate change mitigation efforts within their communities.
